Mailtalk is a collaborative solution based on email and web technologies. It enables you to create, build and manage your own opt-in mailing list for discussions, delivering newsletters, making announcements and distributing promotional messages.
Mailtalk is Low cost, flexible and reliable. Mailtalk is spam and virus free with dedicated backups, providing a secure location for your information. When you set up your group, you have the choice if name which will form part of your group's email address. Your group will automatically (unless you specify otherwise) have an online group homepage which is fully customisable by yourself or by our helpline. Each homepage displays previous conversations. We have excellent customer service which can be contacted via email or phone. The helpline is staffed from Monday to Friday during office hours - 9am - 5pm and is automated outside of these times to receieve enquirieswhich will be dealt with upon our return.
You don't need to be a computer expert to use Mailtalk; all you need is web access and/or email. You join a group in your subject area and then you will start to receive email from the group. If you want to participate in discussions or ask a question, you send a message to the group email address. This message will then be automatically sent out to all the group members, so everyone will receive their own copy of your message.
