Registering Passwords

The LISTSERV® password is widely used to access the LISTSERV web interface and it is recommended that all Mailtalk users register a password.

When registering a password you will be asked to enter your email address, enter a password, confirm it by entering it again and click on 'Register Password'. Once you have registered a password you will be sent a confirmation email. You must click on the link contained in the email, or reply to the email with the word 'OK' before your password is activated. If you do not receive your confirmation email promptly, contact helpline@Mailtalk.ac.uk as we can confirm it for you. A request will expire if not confirmed within 48 hours.

LISTSERV stores the password against that email address, so if you use more than one email address at Mailtalk you may need to register separate passwords for each address.
