Mailtalk to be upgraded to LISTSERV 16.0 - 24/02/10

Mailtalk are pleased to announce that LISTSERV will be upgraded to version 16.0 on the 9th March 2010. There will be some downtime in the sceduled at risk period between 7 - 9am.The changes that will be of interest to our list owners and subscribers are:

• Professional looking newsletters without any coding experience.
• New online posting options - schedule date to post, send test to self, save draft.
• New archive preferences - hovering descriptions, latest messages on list homepage, default view (HTML/text).
• New default list homepage look.
• Mail merge.
• Downloading subscribers in CSV format (available via list management, reports).
• Reports downloading in CSV.

Institutions using Emailfiltering.Com (run by Webroot) may be experiencing delays with mail delivery from Mailtalk. We are in contact with Webroot, and with the institutions involved, to try and resolve this issue. Affected institutions include anglia.ac.uk, gcal.ac.uk, lsbu.ac.uk and rhul.ac.uk
