The JANET 'at risk' period applies to the Mailtalk service and occurs every Tuesday morning between 08:00 and 09:00. Wherever possible, all maintenance will be conducted within this period.

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method of accessing news and other selected data. We provide 2 different feeds for you to access. To subscribe right-click on the RSS icon next to the desired feed below, copy the shortcut/link and enter into your chosen client. You can use any RSS 2.0 compatible client to access our feeds, such as Mozilla Thunderbird.

RSS & list archives

The current version of Listserv on Mailtalk has a beta implementation of RSS for list archives. In order to use this feature you need to construct a URL for use within your RSS client.

For public archives:

http://www.Mailtalk.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?RSS&L=list

For private archives (ie: subscribers only):

http://www.Mailtalk.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?LOGIN1=RSS%26L=list&Y=email&p=pw

where list is the name of the list you wish to access the archives of, email is the address you are subscribed to the list under, and pw is the password registered against that email address.
