To use the Mailtalk calendaring tool, you will need to be logged in. If you do not have a Mailtalk password, register a password here: http://www.mailtalk/cgi-bin/webadmin?GETPW1=LMGT1.
Click on the Calendar link on any group homepage in the tools box or go to: http://www.mailtalk.ac.uk/cgi-bin/calendar.cgi
Once inside the calendars tool, you will see all of your calendar events in one view. By default you will be given the following calendars:
If you have chosen to schedule a meeting or task, you will be presented with the form below.

You will be presented with an 'Edit Meeting' or 'Edit Task' box.
Once you have chosen add event or task or completed the schedule meeting or Task form, you will presented with the following form:

Details:
Click on the details tab to enter information about the location, a link and a description.

Recurrence:
If you wish your event to recur, click on the recurrence tab and select the ‘event recurs’ radio button.
Scheduling:
The scheduling tab allows you to review and edit your attendees or turn an event or task into a scheduled meeting or task. Please note if you turn an event or task into a scheduled meeting or task, you will need to re-select a calendar.
To subscribe to the calendar of one of your Mailtalk groups use: https://www.mailtalk.ac.uk/ucaldav/user/@groupname/calendar where groupname is the name of your Mailtalk group.
To subscribe to your personal calendar: https://www.mailtalk.ac.uk/ucaldav/user/youremailaddress/calendar where youremailaddress is the email address you are registered to Mailtalk with.
To subscribe to your public calendar: https://www.mailtalk.ac.uk/ucaldav/user/youremailaddress/public where youremailaddress is the email address you are registered to Mailtalk with.
If you have entered the url correctly then you will then need username and password. This is just the same as for the Mailtalk login.
Import an iCal file into a Mailtalk calendar
To import a calendar (iCAL file), click on the 'upload iCAL' link at the bottom left hand side. You will be presented with the following form:

Click the browse button to find the iCAL file you wish to upload. Click on the 'Select Calendar' button to choose which calendar you wish to import your iCAL file into. Choose the appropriate options and then click on the 'Continue' button.
Export your Mailtalk calendar
To export a calendar, click on the 'export calendars' link at the bottom left hand side. All calendars that are available to you will be displayed. Click on the name of the calendar to open or save the relevant calendar file.
